Alpine pasture huts & inns
Enjoying at altitudes of at least 1700 meters
The mountain landscape of Val Venosta’s Monte Tramontana is mainly characterized by upland pastures. In Laces, there are two managed grazed alpine pastures at altitudes of more than 1700 m.
Guests can look forward to tasty dumplings of all kinds, a typical South Tyrolean afternoon snack with bacon, alp cheese and traditional Val Venosta rye bread or sweet dishes such as apple strudel and Kaiserschmarrn (sugared pancake with raisins). They are spoilt with regional dishes on the restaurant Malga di Tarres large sun terrace. Malga di Tarres awaits you with a typical South Tyrolean lounge and a terrace to enjoy and relax. On your way to the valley, embedded in a wild and romantic upland pasture, you will find Malga di Laces (1716m) where hungry bikers and hikers can taste different delicacies.
