Laces-Val Martello holiday area

The municipality of Laces with Coldrano, Morter, Tarres and San Martino in Monte is situated in the middle of the Val Venosta apple garden. In Laces, you can experience how the mild, alpine-mediterranean climate of Val d'Adige and Val Venosta’s sunny, dry climate meet on an altitude of 639 m above sea level. You can reach Val Venosta’s Sun Mountain by taking the San Martino in Monte cable car. San Martino in Monte is the starting point of numerous hikes, high routes, high mountain tours and bike tours with marvelous panoramic views of the surrounding three-thousanders. Unique farm inns and snack bars invite you to enjoy and feast on sun terraces.

You can comfortably reach the Malga di Tarres and Malga di Laces hiking paradise at Monte Tramontana by taking the Malga di Tarres chair lift. Traditional alpine pasture huts and dense forests promise unforgettable excursions, hikes, high mountain tours and bike tours for small and big adventurers.
